Creature concepts

I love all manner of fantasy creatures and mythological beasts, from the cute snuffly ones that look as if they might be friendly, to deadly, lethal looking monsters that would almost definitely attack on sight. Dragons in particular are fascinating, especially given just how widely they feature in so many of the world’s ancient and medieval cultures. With my own original creature concepts, I enjoy working traditionally, as if I were a 17th century traveler working on an analogue compendium of the beasts I’ve encountered on my travels. Some of these were done for my MA Project at Falmouth University. Others were commissioned shortly afterwards for screenwriter Nikhil Arora’s pitch for his upcoming supernatural television show Adhbhut.
